The conference "DÃ©couvrir la Psychologie Positive" was held from November 13th to November 14th, 2014 at the hotel N'vY Manotel in Geneva.
The event gathered more than a hundred participants from the health sector, private sector as well as some students; who were interested in learning more about the Positive Psychology approach to apply it on their respective fields and personal lives.
The conference was given by Professor Nansook Park, leading expert internationally recognized for her work in this field, who came exceptionally from United States to participate in this event.
The agenda included a first day dedicated to an overview of the positive psychology approach consisting on the theory and foundations as well as examples of researches and specific practices that can be applied in various settings.
The second day was more focused on workshops to provide effective ways to identify character strengths and used them to improve the performance in different areas (work, relationships, health, etc.) and increase the personal well being.
The event was organized by Ifage (Fondation pour la Formation des Adultes) and CPPA (Centre de Psychologie Positive AppliquÃ©e).
ICVolunteers collaborated in this conference during both days through interpretation services from and to English and French.
